Can you hear the music growing louder?

Can you feel excitement drawing near?

Coming down the street, stepping proudly to the beat,

The marching band is almost here.

 

All the elves and reindeer are the players,

And Santa is the leader in command.

And we can’t forget Mrs Claus, the majorette

In the North Pole Marching Band!

 

 

Rum, pum, pum, pum, Dasher’s on the drum.

Doot, doodle loot, Dancer’s playing on the flute.

Rat, tat, tat, it’s Prancer playing that

On a shiny silver slide trombone.

 

Elves on clarinet, sousaphone and cornet,

Ta-da, ta-da, ta-da, ta-ta-da!

As we stand and cheer ‘cuz ev’ry-body’s here

Stepping right, (stepping right)

Wearing uniforms of red and green and white.

Marching fro, (marching fro)

Playing Christmas carols as they go!
